For the safety of the pet caregivers and your own pets, we ask that you please make sure your pet(s) are fully vaccinated before booking any services with us. Please email your pet(s) vaccine history (preferably in PDF form) to newpetsitting123@gmail.com.

Why Pre-Visit?

Please note, a Pre-Visit is required for all new clients and recommended for any repeat clients if scheduling between the Pet Care Specialist and client works out. It is done before the start of an animal care job to allow the specialist, you, and your pet(s) to become more acquainted with each other. Usually, Pre-Visits last 1 hour or less.

The specialist’s availability is first-come, first-serve, and must be confirmed directly by the specialist in writing.

Pricing

Pre-Visit: $0

  • A Pre-Visit is required for all new clients, and is done before the start of an animal care job to allow the caregiver, you, and your pet(s) to become more acquainted with each other.
  • Usually, Pre-Visits last 1 hour or less.

Dog Walking: $15/Walk

  • Occurs at the client’s home
  • Each dog walking session lasts 30 minutes
  • Flat rate for any number of dogs that need walking, per session
  • Includes anything needed upon request
  • *Feeding is an additional $5 for 1 pet or $15 for 2+ pets

Drop-In Pet Sitting – One Pet: $20/Visit

  • Occurs at the client’s home
  • Each drop-in visit lasts up to 30-45 minutes (inquire for details)
  • Includes feeding, walking and anything else needed upon request
  • Rate for one pet only

Drop-In Pet Sitting- Multiple Pets: $30/Visit

  • Occurs at the client’s home
  • Each drop-in visit lasts up to 30-45 minutes (inquire for details)
  • Includes feeding, walking and anything else needed upon request
  • Rate for two or more pets

House Sitting: $65/Night

  • Occurs at the client’s house
  • Includes feeding, walking and anything else needed upon request
  • Flat rate for any number of pets*
  • During the day, the caregiver will most likely leave the house and drop back in to conduct drop-in visits periodically. However, all you pay for is the nightly rate.
  • Stays of 7 Nights or more are $40/night ($280/week)
  • *Early Bird or Late Arrival Fee: arrival prior to 7:00 am on the first night, or departure after 11:59 am on the last day can be scheduled for an additional $20.

Experience: 11 years

My love for animals has been around since early childhood. My family got a black lab named Bear before I was born, and I grew up with him until he passed away from bone cancer in 2010. We played together all the time and went on walks around the woods and the pond in the neighborhood. He was such a great dog to all of us! Several years later in 2015, my mom and I decided to adopt the dog in the picture with me, who we named Riley. She is a mutt (Beagle Terrier Mix), and I mean how could you not love her? We rescued her from the local animal shelter in Greenville, SC. She resides in Greenville, SC at my mom’s house today.

I decided to take my love for animals and make it a part-time summer job. When I was 14 years old in Simpsonville, SC, I was reaching the end of my freshman year of high school, and I made my own business cards under the name “Nathan’s Pet Sitting”. I bought a bunch of small plastic bags, put the business cards in, and then tossed them onto the driveways of homes in my neighborhood. I was hoping that at least one neighbor would find a business card and contact me for a job opportunity. Little did I know only a few days later, I would have my very first pet sitting booking, ever!

Fast-forward from 2014 to 2020, I started expanding my business to reach an online audience through Google, Yelp, and Nextdoor, and managed to serve 10 counties within the upstate / Greenville area of South Carolina while in college at Clemson University.

In December of 2023, I graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. in Packaging Science and minor in Computer Science, and I am continuing my pet sitting business now that I have relocated to Murfreesboro, Tennessee for a Packaging Engineer job (as of January 2025). I also volunteer at the local animal shelter in Murfreesboro to help pets who are in need of much needed love and affection before their adoption!

My friend Diana will be taking up any remaining business in South Carolina. Because of her addition to my team, we are now called “New Pet Sitting”!

My mission as a pet caregiver is to connect with all animals that I care for on a deep level, and help form connections that will positively impact their lives, and the lives of you, their owners.
